IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CCNS

The Central Carolina N-Scalers have made some changes to the way the club functions. We feel this to be the best for the members and club in general.

With these changes, we continue to push the limits of a traditional MRR club. Some other clubs may not have a permanent location, but very few, if any, conduct their business entirely on an Internet forum and have no formal meetings.

When we started the club, the founders made the decision that it was not to be just an nTrak club but an NScale club focusing on all aspects of the hobby. We think these changes further that idea.

The club has suspended the dues requirement and simply added service to the club/members as payment. This service can be in the form of organizing or participating in club sanctioned Ops Sessions, participating in the setup of the layout at a show (with or without a module), adopting one of the club modules and making sure it arrives at shows. Assisting a club member in construction of a module or home layout.

He hope you will consider club membership as a way to meet like minded NScalers, learn more about the hobby and get in on special club-only events. Remember, no dues, no meetings, no module needed.... just some of your time.

For more Info, See the Roundhouse

We recommending starting at the Trainmasters section, where you can meet each member and see their work. More pictures of the club's modules can be found in The Yard.

Next, visit the Roundhouse for club rules and regulations and how you can join. Check the Timetable for meeting dates and where and when you can see the club's modules in action at a show or event near you. Finish with the Interchange, where you can find links to other clubs, model manufacturers and layouts.
